1. Introduction Welcome to Raincouver Wedding Studios Inc. (“Raincouver,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using this website (www.raincouverstudios.com) and our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this website.
2. Services Raincouver Wedding Studios Inc. provides professional photography and cinematography services for weddings, events, and related occasions. All services are governed by a separate written agreement signed between Raincouver and the client. In the event of any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and a signed agreement, the signed agreement shall prevail.
3. Booking & Payments A signed agreement and non-refundable retainer are required to secure an event date. -Event dates are not reserved until both the signed agreement and retainer are received. -Remaining balances must be paid as outlined in the signed agreement. -Failure to complete payment may result in suspension of services and/or withholding of deliverables. All pricing is listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and may be subject to applicable taxes.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling Retainers are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation or postponement: -Payments made may be applied to a new date only if availability permits. -Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees. -If Raincouver is unavailable on the new date, payments remain non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the signed agreement.
5. Creative Rights & Usage Raincouver retains full copyright ownership of all photographs and video content created. Clients are granted a personal, non-commercial license to: -Share content on social media -Print images for personal use -Distribute to family and friends Commercial use, publication, resale, editing, alteration, or third-party distribution without prior written consent is strictly prohibited. Raincouver reserves the right to use photographs and video content for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, competitions, and editorial submissions unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Artistic Discretion Clients acknowledge and agree that: -Raincouver maintains full creative control over shooting style, editing, and final selection of delivered content. -Final edits reflect our artistic judgment and brand aesthetic. -RAW or unedited files are not delivered. Specific requests must be communicated prior to the event and are subject to feasibility.
7. Limitation of Liability Raincouver shall not be held liable for circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: -Venue restrictions -Weather conditions -Lighting limitations -Schedule delays -Guest interference -Equipment malfunction beyond reasonable control In the unlikely event of total failure of coverage due to catastrophic circumstances, liability is limited to the return of payments received.
8. Force Majeure Raincouver shall not be responsible for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: -Acts of God -Natural disasters -Illness or injury -Government restrictions -Travel disruptions -Emergencies In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to secure a replacement professional. If a replacement cannot be secured, remedies will be limited to the terms outlined in the signed agreement.
9. Website Content All materials displayed on this website — including images, videos, logos, branding elements, text, and design — are the intellectual property of Raincouver Wedding Studios Inc. Unauthorized reproduction, duplication, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
10. Privacy Personal information submitted through inquiry forms or email is used solely for communication and booking purposes. Raincouver does not sell or distribute personal information to third parties except as required to fulfill contracted services.
11. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
